With today’s rapidly changing economy it is more important than ever to prepare workers to fill existing jobs as well as the jobs of the future.  Apprenticeships, both registered or industry recognized, allow students to earn while they learn in careers as well as potentially assist in sustaining some of the work and programs within the America’s Promise grant.


Description

This webinar will provide an overview of apprenticeships and their importance in today’s workforce as well as highlight the role of the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship.  An America’s Promise grantee, who offers an apprenticeship program, will share lessons learned.
